Powys Sheer Bliss took out the championship Part welsh Foal at the recent QLD ALL WELSH SHOW. Her full sister Powys Heavenly Bliss was second in the yearling Part Welsh filly. Powys Stud won the breeders group and second in the progeny group for our beautiful part welsh/ Riding Pony stallion Bradmore Toy Soldier. Both fillies are out of our 10.2h Welsh A Glengwin Heini Bliss and by Bradmore Toy Soldier (imp UK). Bliss has not been bred again so we can concertrate on Lexie's riding and hopefully get back to the ring to compete in Lead Rein classes.

Powys Heavenly Bliss won the yearling Riding Pony class against ponies hands taller than her. Barbie also won the Part Bred pony class and later sashed Reserve Champion Part Bred Pony at the SOUTH EAST QLD YOUNGSTOCK SHOW

The third Toy foal in Australia to be shown strutted her stuff with class today at the Arabian Summer Show at Caboolture showgrounds. Latoyaa, (dam: TB) prepared beautifully by her owner / breeder Shona Nelson looked stunning as she floated effortlessly across the arena. Onlookers could not help but notice the well behaved yearling filly as she stood foot perfect in the Arabian Filly 3 years & under class lineup. Latoyaa exhibited by Lance Mackay was pulled forward for first and the crowd erupted....

All Toy Foals for 2006 have arrived with a total of 6 fillies & 9 colts. Sadly we lost a colt from a serious injury and a filly was lost from malpresentation at birth, a tragic beginning for her owner

16/11/06 We are pleased to annouce that

3 mares were scanned this afternoon and all IN FOAL to TOY. First cab off the ranks is our lovely grey filly Powys Poetry in Motion who is offered for sale in foal, then visiting mare Samson Angelique who already has a beautiful bay TOY colt at foot and last but not least Angeliques 2 y/o palomino daughter Samson China Doll.

1/11/06 FINALLY the Colt run has ended..!!!. We now have a stunning chestnut filly out of our little Welsh A Glengwin Heini Bliss. Its early days and a big call but she might just be better than her full sister Powys Heavenly Bliss.

30/10/06 A Native Wildlife Officer called in and asked if he could release a 6 y/o male koala on our property as he had been found on our road. Of course we said yes as we already have several koalas on our property. Next to our house the officer spotted a young (around 15 months) a mother with a young baby koala (approx 3 months) on her back all in the same tree.

This pretty cremello mare was purchased to breed to "Toy" with resulting foals being either buckskin or palomino and 11.2 - 12h Photos on mares page....

3rd foal arrived 6/09/06, 4 weeks early!

Powys Precocious (first time mum) had a very small but seemingly healthy bay colt that may go grey, hard to tell. He has been named Powys Pretender and will be for sale upon weaning. This little guy has a very dished pretty head, straight movement and will make a super childs pony hack

2nd foal of 2006 has arrived 18/08/06... ANOTHER FILLY!

This time a doll like bay taffy with an extremely dished head, huge poppy eyes and the best front I have seen on a newborn foal. This filly will be an outstanding Lead Rein type.

Colpardas Penny has had an eyecatching black filly that will grey out eventually. She is very up in front with a super fine head and gorgeous curly ears. Photos on 2006 Foals...
